We have several breed specific bar patterns that will fit the standard of most breeds very well. However, for the owner of a particular type of horse that wants the absolute best fit possible, to ensure optimum performance from their horse, we offer the “Custom Fitted” saddle tree. Regardless of the breed or conformational differences a custom fitted tree will fit your horse perfectly. One technique we use to do this is to make a mould of the horses back using the Equimeasure form to show exactly the shape of the horses back. Then, the mould is sent to the saddle tree maker where he then makes a bar that fits the horse perfectly. The rest of the tree is then built to the customers specifications to create the type and style of saddle they desire. The rest of the “custom” part comes from the customer choosing from a variety of saddle options, styles and personal preferences.
